CASCADE

During this residency, Céline Camilleri explores the potential of her wool cords as a new sculptural language, capturing the essence of mountain flows such as streams and waterfalls. She embraces the challenge of embodying and freezing the continuous motion of water, creating material traces through cords that cascade over a height of 4 meters. The culmination of this work will be revealed in a July 2024 exhibition, showcasing creations that blend craftsmanship and contemporary art. These pieces celebrate the fluidity and vitality of life, offering a poetic interpretation of nature’s movement.
